Olbia, Sardinia, more than a seaport

Olbia is the main town of the Gallura Region in Sardinia Island Italy. The origin of the city took place at the time of Punics colonization. The Olbia region is a land with a lot of history, in terms of archaeological and historical remnants. Nuraghi and Giant’s tombs are numerous here and they seem to belong to a mysterious community. Not far from the coast of Olbia we find the Maddalena island, known for its wonderful beaches and places like for exemple the Budelli beach. We are talking about the famous Costa Smeralda. his part of the region with its islands is considered as a National Park.
Place to stay: if you want to find a place to stay in Olbia or nearby, there al lot of types of accommodation. Of course if we want to visit these places we have to respect this beautiful part of the world, acting as responsible tourists.
